All lessons need to be paid before the start of the lessons. Cash or Bank Transfer are accepted. We do not accept cheques. If a cash point is needed then this is done during the lesson.
Block booking discount only applies when payment is made, in full , at the start of the first lesson. Refunds are at the discretion of the company any refunds offered will be calculated at the pay-as-you-go hourly rate and any difference refunded. All refunds will incur a £10.00 administration fee. All block booking hours must be taken within 6 months of purchase, after this time no refund will be offered for any unused hours. For current prices, please contact us.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We operate a cancellation policy. If made within 48 hours the lesson fee will be charged. This must be made before the next scheduled lesson. The charge will be at the instructor's discretion. Please note - we do not offer any free or trial lessons.
DRIVING ESSENTIALS
All learners must be fit and able to drive. Any medical conditions must be disclosed when starting or during driving training. The instructors reserves the right to cancel any lesson if they feel the learner is not fit to drive, the lesson will still be chargeable.
All lessons will be recorded with a forward-facing dash cam. This is for insurance reasons. No audio is recorded. No cameras are facing into the cabin. No footage is kept unless an incident has occurred which will need evidence. All cars are tracked.
Any photos taken ( driving test passes) will be shared on our Facebook, Instagram and Google accounts. You will be asked after your test if you would like your photo to be used.
We allow 15 minutes grace time but if your instructor is running late due to traffic, late tests etc they will endeavour to contact you to advise you of this, and, if needed rearrange your lesson to a mutually convenient time.
OUR RIGHTS
We reserve the right to cancel or amend lessons at any time, either on a permanent or temporary basis. On occasions, the company may have to change vehicles and instructors.
All vehicles provided by the company to learn in will be fitted with dual controls and have all relevant documents and insurance. The company cannot be held responsible for unforeseen issues that arise with the cars, however the company will always endeavour to resolve these issues in a timely manner.
Driving tests can not be booked without prior permission from the instructor. The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of the vehicle for the test when it is felt that the learner is not at the required standard. The company will not be liable for any costs associated with this decision. The company will always endeavour to make this decision in good time to allow the learner to cancel or rearrange the test.
TEST FAILURE
All learners will be required to have a minimum of 3 x 2-hour lessons before any further attempts, this is to ensure that adequate training is given to fix problems raised on the test.
Neither your driving instructor nor Freedom Motoring are responsible for any tests cancelled or amended by the DVSA.
We will endeavour to accommodate any reschedule tests by the DVSA. However please be aware that any driving tests already booked will take priority over the reschedule tests. In which case we would advise that you rebook the driving test.
